Shawnee Mission

Located in Lenexa, Kansas, Helm was awarded the Shawnee Mission School District Aquatic Center.  The project consisted of construction of a new 55,000 SF Aquatic Center with a 50-meter competition pool and an instructional pool.  Our work included all plumbing & piping systems, pressure testing for pool systems to the mechanical room, chemical equipment & UV disinfection systems.  Furnishing & installing all materials & accessories for two complete swimming pool systems.  Supplying & installing all clean granular stone base below pool slabs & behind pool walls, backfill of pool and associated footings. Helm also, as part of the contract, furnished & installed all concrete associated with the pool construction including foundations, slab-on-grade, walls & gutters, and all shotcrete and concrete associated with the pool construction.
