Emsur

Helm was the construction services provider for the design-build Emsur printing facility in the Chicago suburb of Elk Grove Village.  Based in Madrid, Spain, Emsur is a global packaging provider who needed a US partner to develop their label-making process.  Helm worked with ITG Engineering to design the process and then constructed the systems including installation of the printing presses.  The labels included moisture-sensitive ink and an adhesive that sticks to packaging, which required an optimal humidification control system.  The project was permitted, constructed, and commissioned quickly to stay ahead of Emsur’s orders and was completed ahead of schedule, under budget, and accident-free.
