Located in Omaha, NE Helm was awarded Plumbing, Med Gas, and HVAC scopes of work for a new 157,000 square foot ambulatory care center at the Omaha VA Medical Center. Helm’s $12 million contract included VDC/BIM services for the building and its 7 Primary Care Units, Outpatient Surgery Suites, a Women’s Health Clinic, and a specialty medicine unit allowing 400 additional patients to visit the clinic each day. Helm utilized its prefabrication facilities to build the 600 ton chilled water plant off-site to help “fast-track” the schedule.
