For the second year running, Helm has earned a spot among ENR Midwest’s top three overall specialty contractors. This year, the company’s reach across the region is broader than ever.

The 2026 Top Specialty Contractors rankings placed Helm 3^rd overall in the Midwest, with top ten finishes in seven states, and sector-leading recognition across five trades. Helm claimed the #1 position in both Illinois and Nebraska, along with the top ranking in the Mechanical/Plumbing Sector; a distinction the company has now held back-to-back years.

Rankings like these don’t come from Helm alone. They come from clients who trusted the company with important projects, from communities that welcomed Helm’s teams, and from the employees across the Midwest who show up every day committed to building value.

ENR (Engineering News-Record) publishes its Midwest Top Specialty Contractors Rankings annually. It’s one of the construction industry’s most respected benchmarks, and Helm is honored to be included.
