One of college football’s most storied venues is being reimagined for the next century. Helm is honored to bring its mechanical and plumbing expertise to the University of Nebraska’s “Big Red Rebuild,” a $600-million renovation anticipated to serve 80,000 fans and become a year-round destination, opening in 2028.

Helm Mechanical’s awarded scope includes HVAC and plumbing systems in the West Suites and West Lower Bowl, along with HVAC systems in South Stadium.

The project reflects the kind of collaboration, planning, and coordination required to successfully deliver complex work on this scale and magnitude.  Mechanical work in the demolished South and West sections must coordinate with structural timelines, while work in the suite areas commences simultaneously without disrupting any active infrastructure.
