Helm is proud to share that Katie Wentz, Chief Marketing Officer, has been named to the newly established Mental Health Committee of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA).
The national committee was created to help advance mental health awareness and suicide prevention across the mechanical contracting industry. Its work will focus on identifying challenges, sharing practical strategies, and supporting resources that strengthen the well-being of people across the trades and broader construction workforce.
For Katie, the opportunity is both professional and personal.
“This is an opportunity to contribute to something bigger than any one company,” she said. “Supporting people and creating healthier workplaces matters — and I’m grateful to be part of that conversation.”
At Helm, building strong teams starts with how people are supported — in the field, in the office, and throughout their careers. Wentz’s appointment reflects that mindset and the opportunity to help move this conversation forward across the industry.
“Mental health is an important part of the broader conversation around workforce well-being,” said Brian Helm, CEO of Helm Group. “We’re proud to support efforts that help strengthen that focus across the industry.”
If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health or addiction, call or text 988 (U.S. and Canada) to connect with the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. It’s available 24/7, is free, and confidential.
