Helm’s successful completion of the SD 113 Boiler Upgrade at Deerfield High School highlights its expertise in precision planning, advanced technology, and seamless execution. The project involved the removal of outdated equipment, comprehensive 3D scanning of the mechanical room, and the installation of a state-of-the-art boiler system. Additionally, eight rooftop HVAC units were replaced, significantly improving the school’s heating and cooling efficiency. 

Our use of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) played a crucial role in ensuring project accuracy and efficiency. Detailed scanning and modeling allowed for early identification of potential challenges, leading to an optimized installation process. Extensive prefabrication of piping and equipment further streamlined the project, reducing on-site disruptions and enhancing overall precision. Through innovation and expertise, Helm successfully delivered a modernized, high-performance HVAC system, reinforcing its position as a leader in mechanical construction.
