Position Overview

As an IT Support Coordinator, you will provide internal support for employees and the IT team.  This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can manage multiple priorities with a calm and professional demeanor.  While technical expertise is helpful, it is not required.  Your ability to communicate clearly, stay organized, and support our users is what matters most. This role is located in our Freeport, IL office and the work hours are 7:30am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
  • Triage and assign tickets to appropriate IT staff based on urgency and complexity
  • Maintain accurate records of user issues and resolutions in the help desk system
  • Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved and satisfaction is achieved
  • Coordinate scheduling and communication for IT maintenance, updates, and outages
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and equipment tracking
  • Configure and deploy computers and mobile devices
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies
  • Create and update documentation for common support procedures and FAQs
  • Report on service desk metrics to track key performance indicators

Requirements

  • Service-oriented attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple tickets and time effectively
  • Follow directions and procedures accurately
  • Proficient with Windows 11 and Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Be able to communicate technical information effectively to diverse end-users
  • Be able to work effectively in a team environment
  • High school diploma required, an associate degree or higher preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • At least one year of experience in customer service or an administrative role preferred
  • Interest in technology and a willingness to learn

Salary & Benefits

Range: $45,000-$50,000 annually
