This soldier pile and timber lagging project included a cast-in-place concrete face on the front of the wall. Piles were placed in drilled shafts. The retaining wall extended for one mile and allowed Blackhawk Road to be widened from 2-lane to 4-lane.

This project was a partial refacing of the existing lock with one-sided forms and poured-in-place concrete. An upper and lower guidewall resurfacing was also included in the work.
