This downtown Rockford, Illinois bridge crosses the Rock River with a 500 foot center span. The river bridge is supported with a tied arch connected to the deck with steel cables. The project in Belleview, Iowa was a complete refacing of the existing lock. Precast concrete panels were placed immediately in front of the existing wall and the void was filled with concrete. This project was completed over a winter shutdown period with extensive phased scheduling requirements.
