Position Overview

The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for conducting inspections, tests, and reviewing documents to identify and address any deviations from project specifications, ultimately ensuring the overall quality and integrity of the completed structure.

This role is located in Jeffersonville, IN.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment and material receiving inspections:
    • Verify items received against BOL
    • Verify items received against approved submittals for accuracy
    • Document damage or discrepancies in ACC Build
  • Equipment and material installation inspections:
    • Verify install of product matches contract documents (Submittals, drawings, specifications)
  • Record required documentation in client database:
    • ACC Build
  • Issue Management:
    • Daily check of company issues in ACC build
      • Create reports and give to respective individuals in charge of scope
      • Update and closure of issues once fix is completed (Field verify or picture verification from foreman)
      • Weekly update on current issues and status

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering; OR minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction, with a focus on quality control, materials testing, and laboratory testing
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, building codes, and regulations

Salary & Benefits

Range: $80,000-$100,000
