Approximately 50% of Conmat's sales revolve around meeting Civil Constructors aggregate needs for asphalt, road base, and structural fill.

The remainder of sales is to outside contractors, ready mix producers, road maintenance departments, and agricultural users throughout northwest Illinois.

With 16 quarries in 3 counties and wide array of production equipment, Conmat has the ability to produce a full spectrum of limestone products in locations throughout the region. Conmat produces over one million tons of limestone aggregates each year, using 3 mobile crushing, screening, and washing spreads to efficiently produce the desired products where they are needed. By focusing on education and training Conmat has achieved industry leading safety results and has received recognition by the Illinois Department of Mines and Minerals for the lowest frequency rate for Safety in Illinois. Despite being in an inherently dangerous industry, Conmat has worked 3 out of the last 4 years without an OSHA/MSHA recordable accident, and has not had a lost time accident in over 4 years.
